When you meet Ryan, one of the first things you notice is his genuine, easygoing way of connecting with people. It’s no surprise, since his entire career has been centered around serving others, understanding their needs, and helping them find their path forward. Today, he brings that same heart for service to his role as Client Relationship Manager.

A Background Built on Service

Before joining Milestone Wealth, Ryan spent years in Christian ministry, where he developed a deep appreciation for listening, guiding, and serving people through major life decisions. He also brings several years of experience in the financial industry, giving him a unique blend of technical knowledge and personal connection. “All of that plays into my role now,” Ryan says. “My entire career has been about helping others find what’s best for them.”

Ryan’s days often include:

  • Preparing behind-the-scenes details for upcoming client meetings

  • Taking notes in client meetings and shaping next steps

  • Coordinating the follow-up that keeps financial plans moving smoothly

  • Connecting clients to trusted local partners, from attorneys to CPAs, through what he calls Milestone’s “extended office”

“I want clients to see that I genuinely care about what’s best for them,” Ryan shares. “Our clients come first, and they deserve the best.”

What He Loves About the Work

For Ryan, the joy is twofold: he loves the financial planning process, and he loves helping clients catch a vision for what’s possible. “I thoroughly enjoy the market and the nuts and bolts of creating financial plans,” he says. “But I also love helping people shape a future for themselves and their families.”

Family, Faith & Life Outside the Office

Ryan and his wife, Danielle, met years ago while serving on a summer-long mission trip. Today they live in Greenville with their two daughters, Harper (almost 4) and Hadley (1).

Weekends often mean walks around the neighborhood, outings to the park, time with friends, or Ryan standing over the smoker or grill. He’s an enthusiastic sports fan, an avid whiskey collector, and enjoys target shooting. He also leads a weekly Community Group through his church, while Danielle serves as the part-time administrator for Pitt County

YoungLife.

One fun fact? He once ran into Bill Murray… in an airport bathroom.

A Guiding Principle

When asked about the best advice he’s ever received, Ryan doesn’t hesitate: “Whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.” It’s a sentiment that comes through in how he works, how he serves, and how he shows up every day for clients and teammates alike.
